About Queen Kapiolani ---
Queen Kapiolani was the sister-in-law of Queen Liliuokalani. She was married to King David Kalakaua, the brother of Queen Liliuokalani.
Queen Kapiolani was the hanai/adopted daughter of Kaluakini/Luakini who married 1) Kawahineahanui then 2) Haili - the niece of Kapiolani/Queen Kapiolani.
Queen Kapiolani gave a deed to Prince Kuhio and Prince Kawananakoa which was to be filed after she died.
Prince Kuhio and Prince Kawananakoa filed it immediately in the Bureau of Conveyances.
Queen Kapiolani opposed their move and the occupier's court denied Queen Kapiolani's case.
Prince Kuhio and Prince Kawananakoa were the hanai/adopted sons of Queen Kapiolani because their mother died young and Queen Kapiolani was left to take care of her nephews.
Queen Kapiolani died in 1899.
About Princess Poomaikelani -----
Princess Poomaikelani/Poomaikelani/Abigaila/Kapooloku/Kapoolohu/Kapapoko was married several times.
Her husbands were: Hiram Kahanawai Kaaha; JWE Maikai; Ioba (divorced); Ioela; Kekai.
With Ioela, she had Haili who married Kaluakini/Luakini.
Her nephews claimed that she was their mother but she wasn't. They were the sons of Kinoiki, then adopted/hanai by Queen Kapiolani.
Her nephews were conspirators and treasonous persons along with Princess Kaiulani, her father Archibald Cleghorn, Charles Reed Bishop, Albert Kunuiakea, and others in Queen Liliuokalani's Court.
Haili (w) and Kaluakini had seven children including Elizabeth.
Haili (w) became a kahu of Kaluakini who was sent to the Leprosy colony in Kalaupapa, Molokai.
Haili's mother Princess Poomaikelani was one of the Kalaupapa landowners.
Haili (w) and Kaluakini gave their seven children to his mother named Kailihou/Kaili and King David Kalakaua's son Kaopu/Kaopumomona/Kolomona Kaopumomona.
All parties in the adoption - Kailihou, Kaopu, Kaluakini, and Haili (w) transferred their interest in lands to their seven children.
Our grandmother Elikapeka was only five (5) years old at the time, and she was the youngest.
Our oral history showed that she was born in the same birthplace as Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli in Keauhou, Kona, Big Island.
She remembered being hidden in a cave and was told by her kahu/caretakers to be quiet and someone will be back for her.
There were a lot of horses and wagons with men asking for children including her siblings.
In researching, only one brother was found.
Grandmother was taken to safety on the Island of Maui, then to Waialua, Oahu, where she was raised by her grandfather's family.
Her grandfather was Ioela, son of Kahekili who was the son of Kalola - the next-of-kin to Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
Her grandmother was Princess Poomaikelani who married Ioela. Princess Poomaikelani was also the hanai/adopted daughter of Kalola (w) the next-of-kin to Bernice Pauahi Bishop.
Princess Poomaikelani died in 1895 leaving her grandchildren in the safety of Kalanimoku's family.
Grandmother was a descendant of Kalanimoku's brother named Keoua. Kalanimoku's sibling Kekoa/Koa's son was named Kaiama/Joane Kaiama who was my grandmother's and her brother's caretaker. Kalanimoku's other siblings were Boki, Wahinepio - mother of Kekauonohi, and Manono (w) who opposed Kamehameha's instructions.
Princess Poomaikelani was also a hanai/adopted daughter of Queen Liliuokalani. There were other hanai/adopted children but not all supported the Queen.
Grandmother said that she sat with the Queen and watched the hula.
She also maintained that Queen Liliuokalani had told her to maintain a neutral, non-violent nation.
The following is a Chronological history of our grandmother who was hidden at age 5:
1883 - Grandmother Elizabeth was born. Her birth certificate shows the name Inoaole and mother's name Haili and father's name Kaluakini.
1888 - Adoption Deed with her name and siblings.
1893 - U.S. Military supported the White Annexationist/Supremacists in usurping Queen Liliuokalani from a neutral, friendly, non-violent nation /A Premeditated, planned Seizure of the Kingdom of Hawaii occurred.
1895 - Princess Poomaikelani died. She was one of the hanai/adopted children of Kalola - who was the next-of-kin to Bernice Pauahi Bishop. She was one of the true supporters of Queen Liliuokalani and the second to last documented loyal supporters next to Queen Kapiolani in the Court of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
1899 - Queen Kapiolani died. She had fought in the occupier's court with her hanai/adopted nephews named Prince Kuhio and Prince Kawananakoa.
Both Princes were not loyal to their aunts Princess Poomaikelani, Queen Kapiolani, and Queen Liliuokalani.
Note: The Princes were parties to the crimes of conspiracies, fraud, and treason to the Queen and even to our grandmother because they claimed that Princess Poomaikelani was their mother.
Queen Kapiolani was a hanai/adopted daughter of Kaluakini who was the father of our grandmother Elizabeth/Elizabeth Kaluakini.
1917 - Queen Liliuokalani died. The descendants of her loyal Royal Family member Princess Poomaikelani's descendants and heirs existed then and their descendants exists today.
Elizabeth/Elizabeth Kaluakini married Joseph Matsugoro/Gora and had John (siblings: Joseph, Walter, William, Jolly, Lawrence, and Francis)
1963 - Joseph Matsugoro/Gora, husband of Elizabeth/Elizabeth Kaluakini Gora, and our grandfather, died.
1968 - Elizabeth/Elizabeth Kaluakini Gora, our grandmother, died.
Elizabeth/Elizabeth Kaluakini was also a descendant of Akahi (w) the last wife of Kalanimoku.
Kalanimoku was the father of Leleiohoku/W.P. Leleiohoku, hanai/adopted father of Kekauonohi/ M. Kekauonohi, and stepfather of Liholiho/Kamehameha II; Kauikeaouli/Kamehameha III; and Nahienaena because Kalanimoku's was married to Keopuolani, their mother.
Akahi married Kikau, the nephew of Kanekapolei married to Kamehameha. Akahi and Kikau had son Nahuina who married Kaili/Kamaliiwahine/Kailihou and had Kaluakini. Nahuina died in 1848 and his mother Akahi hanai/adopted his son Kaluakini.
Kaluakini became a younger brother of Leleiohoku/W.P. Leleiohoku; Kekauonohi; Kauikeaouli/ Kamehameha III, Nahienaena, et. als. because Kaluakini's true grandmother who became his hanai/adopted mother was a stepmother of Kalanimoku's child/hanai/and stepchildren.
Other marriages added more family members including: Halemano (father: Kahope), Kapapu, Kaanana, Kalama (hanai/adopted father: Waha).
*Also note that Kamehameha's other children also became part of Akahi's children/stepchildren.
1994 - Our father John Matsugoro/ Gora died.
Note: Our father prompted the research because he knew that much of our family lands were leased out and the leases were up.
1996 - An Affidavit/Lien No. 96-177455 was filed on 12/17/96 (281 pages) with researched information, genealogies, questionable issues, discoveries, frauds, etc. by myself due to my father's requests etc.
Many affidavits and land claims filed at the Bureau of Conveyances with the help of my father's youngest brother Francis who also reviewed the facts, etc.
2018 - A Joinder was filed showing genealogies of our Royal Family's being the descendants and heirs of Kalola (w) who was the next-of-kin to Bernice Pauahi Bishop who was the next-of-kin to Ruth Keelikolani.
Note: The multiples of filings were made at the Bureau of Conveyances, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii. These were made with the combined efforts with my brother John, and cousin Francis.
We are some of the descendants of those loyal to Queen Liliuokalani being descendants of Princess Poomaikelani and Family of Queen Kapiolani the only two (2) who were loyal to her in her Court of 1893, the Legitimate Government.
We also maintain a neutral, friendly, non-violent nation whose government was recognized in 1841 by Belgium; becoming a Constitutional Government in 1840; 1849 Treaty with the U.S. and ratified in 1850 - a permanent friendship and amity treaty; Stipulations of the Protectorate since 1854 was breached by the U.S., Great Britain, and France; Neutrality law of 1854 breached, and the agreement of Queen Liliuokalani and the U.S. Junta remain incomplete.
Research shows that the Hawaiian Government is made up of three (3) parts:
(1) Sovereign - his/her descendants/heirs- permanent part. * For relatives only.
(2) House of Nobles - their descendants/heirs - permanent part. * Fpr relatives only.
(3) House of Representatives - voted in, temporary part of government. *Aliens acceptable.

Queen Kapiolani - removed her adopted sons - joined the usurpers - Prince Kuhio and Prince Kawananakoa, and hanai/adopted son Kahanu - research incomplete. Prince Kuhio, they were both conspirators and treasonous persons. Kahanu/David Kahanu was a friend of the usurpers. He was partner with Dowsett. Also, her husband King David Kalakaua had hanai/adopted sons by himself. Queen Kapiolani was Not part of that transaction. Note: Those names were not added.
King Kalakaua also had two (2) children: Kaopu and Kamaka (w). See Liber 12 pages 448-449, Bureau of Conveyances, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii.
Note: Our grandmother and her siblings were adopted by Kaopu/Kaopumomona/ Kolomona Kaopumomona and Kaili/Kailihou (w) her true grandmother. Our grandmother's mother and father with Kaopumomona and Kaili/Kailihou (w) transferred all of their interest in lands to our grandmother Elizabeth/Elikapeka and siblings. Her parents were sent to Kalaupapa, Molokai, the leprosy colony and taken cared of by Belgium's Catholic Priest Father Damien.
Belgium was the first nation that recognized the Kingdom of Hawaii in 1841. Great Britain, France, and the U.S. recognized the Kingdom of Hawaii in 1843 or two (2) years later.
