The backbone of the invasion on a neutral, friendly, non-violent nation was Charles Reed Bishop. Bishop became a Kingdom of Hawaii subject and committed a conspiracy with documented others.
The following focuses on Charles Reed Bishop, the Pirate of the Pacific:
1846 - Charles Reed Bishop arrived in Hawaii with William Lee.
1849 "Bishop became accepted as a citizen of the Kingdom of Hawaii. He became an investor with Henry A. Peirce and Lee in a sugarcane plantation on the island of Kauaʻi, near where the Ladd company had been somewhat successful.
"1849 to 1853" - he served as Collector General of Customs.
1850 - "1850, he married, Bernice Pauahi Pākī"

The following excerpt shows that Bernice Pauahi was educated in Boston, but the reality is that Charles Reed Bishop was from Boston, and Bernice Pauahi was educated at the Royal School in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The most evil is Charles Reed Bishop who arrived in Hawaii with William Lee. Both worked for the American Consulate, then as an attorney, plantation owner, banker, etc.
Bishop was a "gold digger" marrying Bernice Pauahi Bishop who was Not the "last of the Kamehameha's".
1884 - Bernice Pauahi Bishop died. Her husband Charles Reed Bishop received part of the Estate for his lifetime only.
Her cousin Kalola received half of the Estate,, and upon the death of Charles Reed Bishop was the owner of the full Estate.
Charles Reed Bishop created the Kamehameha School.

SUMMARY
With the inclusion of Kamehameha Schools as part of the annexationists counts, this verifies the fact that the Kamehameha Schools was made for the purposes of adding supporters for the White Supremacist Charles Reed Bishop who was the "backbone" of the treasonous persons who helped to usurp Queen Liliuokalani in 1893.
It can be said that since 1893, Kamehameha Schools and Punahou Schools were the financed bodies of the White Supremacists whose purposes was to support the usurpation of Queen Liliuokalani, and utilized funds rightfully belonging to Queen Liliuokalani and the Royal Family.
Queen Liliuokalani was the hanai/adopted sister of Bernice Pauahi Bishop whose husband and friends orchestrated the theft of Hawaiian monies by organizing a "Trust" which criminally assumed lands of the Kamehameha's for their purposes leading up to the criminal assumption of lands, monies, etc. belonging to the Royal Family.
Therefore, it can be said that the Kamehameha Schools was a reason for the criminal pirates, pillagers, racketeers, a planned diversion to appear as if the education reason was for the children when it was really a scoundrel activity hiding the fact that the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Estates Trustees of 1884 were the true thieves, scoundrels, who helped to plan the usurpation of the Queen in 1893, and form a fraudulent trust in 1909 to assume all.
It is true what Judge Stuart observed:
Judge Stuart exposed the Corruptions in the Hawaiian Islands, in the claimed governments, and the courts, etc.............He complained about the usurpers to his President Wilson..............Wilson destroyed his letters by cutting it up and giving parts to those who were being written about.
Wilson threw his parts into the trash can.
Interesting man Judge Stuart....he bluntly admitted that the Bishop Estates was set up for the "real purposes of taking care of the trustees and hangers-on..."
Lastly, Charles Reed Bishop died in 1915. He left monies to many including Kamehameha Schools, and Punahou Schools.
Most of the monies was not his. He lost all interest in the Kamehameha's monies in 1893 due to his collusion, treasonous activities.
If that were not the case he would have lost all interest in1915 when he died and had only a life interest.
Rents are due from the Trustees of both trusts for lands criminally claimed by an illegal, criminal, pirate, pillaging, racketeering trust which owns nothing because they are not the allodial land owners, genocide activist, treasonous persons who have all breached the neutrality laws as well.

Mahalo Amelia for responding so quickly in setting things right. It is also interesting to note that Kanawai Mamalahoe was not for protecting people in times of war. It was protection of all people from molestation, assaullt, or harrassment in public; who had a right to sleep or rest by the roadside or anywhere within the Kingdom.
The law of occupation is very explicit whereby the United States of America has continuously violates since 1893 where U.S. citizens are in violation of immigrating and residing within the occupied territory. They don't lose their U.S. citizens whether or not they are born within the Kingdom of Hawai'i but are considered hostile occupiers/settlers. Their presence is in violation of the law of occupation.
During the unlawful invasion of the Kingdom of Hawai'i, the U.S. Minister Stevens under the approval of the Executive Branch of the U.S.A., protected and assisted in creating the Provisional government and gave the treasonous Committee of Safety assurance that they woud be protected by the U.S. military for their existence which emboldened them to make the proclamation establishing their Provisional Government. U.S. Minister Stevens immediately recognized the said Provisional Government before they had control of any government buildings, the police station, or the barracks of the Hawaiian Kingdom.
U.S. Minister Stevens informed the Queen if she resisted; it would be an act of war against the U.S.A. The said treasonous Provisional Government officials melted down silver dollars to create a tea set and presented it to U.S. Minister Stevens in gratitude for his participation and protection of establishing the Provisional Government for them.
To discredit the Blount report commissioned by U.S. President Cleveland, Senator Morgan who was the Grand Dragon of the racist Klu Klux Klan, exonerated all U.S. participants and placed the blame solely on Queen Liliuokalani. Consequently, the Turpie Resolution of 1894 was passed for non-interference of any U.S. officials or any other foreign government under threat of an act unfriendly towards the U.S.A. after the fact. President Cleveland insisted a more democratic form in the resolution and thus, the wording included, "Resolved, That of right-it-belongs wholly to the people of the Hawaiian Islands to establish and maintain their own form of government and domestic policy;..."
In response to this, the people's plebiescite known as the Ku'e Petitions of 1897, overwhelmingly spoke for the people of Hawai'i. Partially because of this, the second submission of the treaty of annexation by the traitorous U.S. American puppet government now known as the republic of Hawai'i was again rejected for lack of 2/3rds majority vote as demanded by the U.S. Constitution.
To circumvent that outcome, Congress conducted a joint resolution called the Newlands Resolution which U.S. Rep. Ball pronounced as what couldn't be done lawfully was done unlawfully. Many Congressmen agreed but were over-ridden by such a violation of domestic and international law. All U.S. domestic laws are null and void in Hawai'i; including annexation, statehood, and including the manifest destiny tool called the Akaka Bill to create a portion of the Hawaiian subjects/nationals as an indigenous American tribe.
This brings us to the conclusion that the Kingdom of Hawai'i still exists albeit under U.S. belligerent occupation with continuous violations of the law of occupation and the law of neutrality.
