message posted --- also not cousins - we descend from John Young, Isaac Davis through Grace Kamaikui who married Isaac Davis and had Hueu Davis, Kale Davis, and Peke Davis............. Hueu Davis had Kailio - son #2 who had Kauhi who had Kuheleloa and who had Kalaikini who had Charles Kauweloa who had Mary Kauweloa who had Mary Castro (and siblings). Mary Castro married John Gora and had Amelia Gora (and siblings). Peke Davis married Keawe and had David Keawe who married Kapehe opio/kapopo and had Mary Keawe who married Charles Kauweloa - her uncle. They had Mary Kauweloa who had Mary Castro (and siblings). Mary Castro married John Gora and had Amelia Gora (and siblings). Note: John Gora was also a descendant of Hueu Davis because his ancestor was the sister of Kalaikini named Kahananui. John Gora was an heir of Kalaikini too.....in other words our family are multiple descendants of John Young and Isaac Davis which is why I knew a condolence letter was necessary to send to our ancestor's original nation - the Kingdom of Great Britain, etc. aloha.
