Note:  William Linekona Hokuloa/Charles Williams/Charles Kauweloa was the true uncle of his wife Mele Keawe.  He was the son of Opunui and Mele Keawe was the granddaughter of Opunui.

Also, Kalaikini(w) was the Power Attorney of Ruth Keelikolani.  She was married to House of Nobles member John Kapena then married Opunui, gave her son William Linkeona Hokuloa/Charles Williams/Charles Kauweloa to her sister Kahananui (w) who was married to Kalola's son Kahekili/AK Luluhiwalani.  When he died, she married Charles Kawelo/Kauweloa/Charles Kuikahi Kauweloa and they adopted William Linekona Hokuloa/Charles Williams/Charles Kauweloa.

In other words, my mother and father are from two (2) sisters and several ancestors were related.

SUMMARY

Many members of the Royal Family exists today.  Our ancestors were heirs of the body of Kamehameha, the Sovereign, and members of the House of Nobles, the permanent parts of the Hawaiian Government.

Through genealogies, and Pedigree Charts, research, and documented evidence, we have also come together to maintain the Hawaiian Government known as the Kingdom of Hawaii.
