Greetings!

I am one of Kalaniopuu's, Kamehameha's, Kahekili of Maui, Kaumualii of Kauai, Nuuanu's, Akahi (female), Kamehameha's siblings descendant/heir and have been doing genealogy research for 22+ years, history research for 30+ years, and legal research for more than 10 years.
I am a cultural practitioner because we are a genealogy based society.
As you may already know, we are a 3,000 - 5,000 year old society in the Hawaiian Archipelago.
Genealogies, history - oral and written studies is part of our Hawaiian culture and no different from those who practice the chants, hula, healing and other arts, gifts of our people.
Our Queen Liliuokalani was criminally dethroned in 1893 by claimed Hawaiian subjects who were treasonous and who filled the 1/3 part of the government called the House of Representatives, a voted in, temporary part of the Hawaiian Government which is made up of a permanent parts with the Sovereign, his descendants/heirs; and the House of Nobles, their descendants/heirs.
The treasonous persons formed the Provisional Government which was neither de facto nor de jure as documented by Queen Liliuokalani.
History researchers have uncovered the facts that the U.S., England, and the JP Morgan bankers (investors for U.S. and England) along with the Bank of England did premeditate, plan, strategize, conspire, and support conspirators in the Hawaiian Islands to dethrone Queen Liliuokalani in 1893.
Long story short, this is a project set up for our Hawaiian people, kanaka maoli with the intent to support through education, the way to reclaim their tutus and their tutus lands.
Much of the finds have been written about and appear in more than 25 published books, thousands of articles, and 397 news letters on the web called the IOLANI - The Royal Hawk news, etc.
The websites are theiolani.blogspot.com http://myweb.ecomplanet.com/GORA8037 etc.
The following is an updated version of our Alii Genealogies followed by a How-To-Do your genealogy(ies) and land claims for all kanaka maoli, those holding "ano alodio" titles/perpetuity titles to lands.  Lastly, web information/ links/websites available are also included:

Summary

We are a genealogy based society. It would be worth your while to set aside this important information with your land, genealogy records because it is now proven that Bernice Pauahi Bishop was NOT the "last of the Kamehameha's" and the lies are but criminal propaganda set in place by the non-kanaka maoli, the treasonous persons who moved to assume all that does not belong to them.

BRIEF CHECKLIST FOR ALL KANAKA MAOLI RECLAIMING THEIR PROPERTIES

Compiled by Researchers including Amelia Gora (2012)

Sovereign Kauikeouli/Kamehameha III in 1848 helped to set up the Mahele also called the Great Mahele.

The lands had belonged to the Sovereign, Kamehameha, his father; then Liholiho, his brother.

Kauikeouli/Kamehameha III didn't need to share the lands to others but did.

He shared lands to the people and the project was called the Mahele which was divided into three parts:   1) konohiki and hoaina,  2) government, aside from reserving a portion to himself called the 3) Crown Lands.

See:  http://books.google.com/books?id=vBEKQE-1FggC&pg=PA30&dq=Gr...  for more information

The lands were Ano Alodio lands which remains forever to the assigned owner, his descendants/heirs....Kanaka Maoli are and remain the true, legal title holders.

Their descendants/heirs should maintain the following important documents in their possession:

   1) Royal Patents - xerox, certified copy

   2)  Land Commission awards - xerox, certified copy

   3)  Survey Notes - xerox, certified copy

The top three are prima facie evidence of specific land ownership.  Also needed as evidence are:

   4)  Genealogies - direct connect to ancestor

   5)  Affidavit/Lien of Genealogies - file at the Bureau of Conveyances

Additional Documents:

Court Cases showing case precedence;

Add the HRS/Hawaii Revised Statutes 172.11 in which the property "inures" to the descendants;

Protective Orders from the House of Nobles ---- many kanaka maoli have this with their documents.

CLAIMING YOUR ANCESTORS LANDS --- ALLODIAL ISSUES.....

The following article was posted in the IOLANI - The Royal Hawk.

This message is being sent again because the EXHIBIT section was not covered.

The legal documents should contain the following in the following order:

1) Cover page (covers ancestors name, RP/Royal Patent Number, LCA/ Land Commission Award number

2) Affidavit/Certification (family genealogies)

3) Heirs and Assigns page

4) EXHIBITS (Write EXHIBITS in top right hand corner):
a. RP/Royal Patent LCA/Land Commission Award brief history (shows names of deceased owners and successors)
b. Survey Notes (obtain from the Archives, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii) which shows the map, dimensions of the land(s). (ask the Archivist how to obtain your survey notes..... also ask how to look at the books available documenting awards from the Great Mahele/ Kamehameha III period, an extra step to take is to find out the testimonies in regards to the parcel(s)/lands belonging to your families.

5) JURAT, NOTARY page

6) Xerox two (2) or more sets. The notary usually wants to do only two (2) for a set. If more copies are needed for family members, you could make copies after the notary signs the documents, and even after the filing is completed.

7) obtain a notary signature from your Credit Union, bank --- First Hawaiian Bank has a preferred customer account that you may be able to qualify for......worth it because the cost of a Notary will be nothing/free..........at the Credit Unions and some banks also give free notary signature......cousin paid about $50 a couple of weeks ago ---$5 per notary signature.

8) take the two (2) sets of documents to the Bureau of Conveyances, Regular System section and pay $25 for a set which covers up to 20 pages. Any amount of pages over 20 will cost $1 per page.

9) The Bureau of Conveyances located on Punchbowl Street is open in the mornings till 3:30 p.m. They do not accept documents later than that time. (Mondays-Fridays (Holidays closed)).

aloha and malama pono.

p.s. Kindly disperse info/e-mail(s) to all your families/friends/other Hawaiian aboriginal /kanaka maoli.

PARTNERS OF THE PAPAKILO DATABASE

Awaiaulu

Awaiaulu is dedicated to fostering Hawaiian knowledge today through the training of translators and publication of legacy texts. Fluent students of Hawaiian mentor with experienced translators, bringing historical literature to modern readers in a bilingual format. This develops new resource people, introduces information from these narratives to new audiences, and gives new access to Hawaiian-language texts.

Awaiaulu provides access to Hawaiian language texts, empowers the publication process, and provides a setting where the skills and insights necessary for such efforts can be mastered. The goal is to foster Hawaiian mores, values and stories by moving the narratives that illustrate them out of the archives and into the hands of resource people and readers today. A great body of important Hawaiian literature lies beyond the reach of most people, archived for more than a century. The language and the knowledge contained in these works are wonderful resources for the 21st century.

Ka'iwakiloumoku

Ka‘iwakiloumoku means “the ‘iwa bird that hooks the islands together,” a traditional reference to our great and revered warrior-king, Kamehameha ‘Ekahi. It is a name that recalls Kamehameha’s efforts to unite the Hawaiian Islands some 200 years ago. It is also a reflection of Na Kanaka Maoli – Native Hawaiians – coming together to revitalize Hawaiian language and culture to ensure a vibrant Hawaiian society in the 21st century.

The Ka‘iwakiloumoku Hawaiian Cultural Center consists of two major components: 1) the Hawaiian Cultural Center facility, and 2) the Hawaiian Cultural Center programs. While efforts have been underway to garner support for the construction of the Center, there have also been concurrent efforts to help develop the cultural character of our people and the campus environment via program offerings.

Ka‘iwakiloumoku is dedicated to providing opportunities to learn Hawaiian knowledge – ‘ike Hawai‘i – and to live and practice Hawaiian culture as a vibrant way of life –nohona Hawai‘i. These efforts are guided by statements that articulate a vision for the Native Hawaiian people, a “Lahui Vision” – He Nu‘ukia Lahui Hawai‘i. In this light, we continually strive to affirm our mission to ensure a vibrant Hawaiian society – e ku ke ola i ka moku – in the 21st century and beyond.

Kumu Pono Associates

Kepa Maly and Onaona Pomroy Maly have worked on ethnographic studies in historic preservation for over thirty years (Kumu Pono Associates LLC, since 1995). Living away from O'ahu, research was always an expensive undertaking with travel from outer islands, and other expenses to just get to the archival collections. Around the year 2000, they began exploring the possibility of digitizing key collections of historical resrouce materials.

Since then, they have independently or in partnership, digitize and re-indexed the entire Mahele 'Aina, Boundary Commission Proceedings, Royal Patent Grants, the Harvard Collection of ABCFM Hawai'i records, Register Maps, and portions of the Bureau of Conveyances Library Collection, along with portions of other documentary resources. Kumu Pono Associates LLC has also partner with the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Kamehameha Schools and Ulukau in sharing digital collections and ethnographic studies.

While digitizing records does not directly equal preservation of those records, it does lead to ease of access, and lightens the impact of handling sensitive records.

The Nature Conservancy

The Nature Conservancy’s mission is to preserve the plants, animals, and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive. In Hawai‘i, our goal is to actively manage our native ecosystems and species, to sustain them into the future. Working with partners, threats are abated, health of ecosystems on land and sea are restored and maintained, and our unique island biodiversity is carried forward as an irreplaceable asset, meeting human needs and fulfilling ecosystem functions that serve all life in the islands. TNC in Hawai‘i maintains a network of preserves, participates in watershed and other conservation partnerships, helps protect important natural areas, and works to strengthen policies and capacity for conservation in Hawai‘i.

Land Commission Awards

"Distinguishing Significance of Land Commission claims and Royal Patents

The Land Commission awards are the legal title of the land holder, and that claimant, his heirs or assigns (present owners), has/have legal standing in a court of law concerning that piece of land. It also provides information about the land and those who occupied it. Even when claims are not awarded, the claimant’s heirs have legal standing in a court of law concerning burials and artifacts uncovered. The importance of the Royal Patent for the land holder, is that the Government (whether Kingdom, Republic, Territory, or State) relinquishes its interest in the property (J. Achiu, 2004 and Jon J. Chinen, 2002) subject to qualifications, Since Statehood these qualifications have multiplied."

Important Note:  The false statement above "his heirs or assigns (present owners) is erroneous/hewa.  The true wording is "heirs and successors" --- heirs and successors are related and have Alodio titles.  Assigns (present owners) are mostly Aliens and not related to the Alodio owners.  See  Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli's speech of 1851 to see what he said and documented.  Research at the Archives to see the records.  The Archives was shut down for two (2) years after the criminal dethronement of Queen Liliuokalani in 1893, which means it gave time for tampering, criminal conversions, frauds, etc. entered onto the books of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

The INDICES OF AWARDS book did mischievously manipulate/maneuver to change the Alodio and Fee Simple into "Alodio in Fee Simple" which gave the appearance that there was ONLY Fee Simple in the Hawaiian Islands.  This change resulted in defrauding All Kanaka Maoli.

The Truth of the Matter is that Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli granted Alodio to his people and to Aliens he gave Fee Simple or less than alodio.  Aliens can Never own Alodio titles.  This is what All Kanaka Maoli needs to know. and this is why all kanaka maoli needs to claim their tutu's aina, charge rents for those sitting on the lands if they are not the descendants/heirs or successors of the Alodio Titles, the Superior Titles/Paramount Titles...... added by Amelia Gora (2017).
