Prince Edward contracted Typhoid fever, recovered, and contracted another illness while attending school in California.  He returned and died shortly after:

Note:

Princess Poomaikelani was a hanai/adopted mother of Prince Edward.

Princess Poomaikelani had her own children who were hanai/adopted siblings of Prince Edward:  Alapai (female), Haili (female) et. als.

Haili (female) married Kaluakini and had Elikapeka Kaimiola Kaluakini, and others.

Elikapeka Kaimiola Kaluakini married Joseph Gora and had Joseph Gora, Walter Gora, William Gora, John Gora, Jolly Gora (female), Lawrence Gora, and Francis Gora.
