Akahi, the last wife of Kalalnimoku was the grandaughter of Kamehameha's brother named Kalaiwohi.
Akahi married Kikau the son of Nuuanu who was the son of Mahi/Mahihelelima whose sister was Kanekapolei, a wife of Kalaniopuu and Kamehameha.
Kanekapolei and Kalaniopuu were the parents of Kiwalao, Keoua Ahuula, and Keoua Peeale. Kiwalao was the father of Keopuolani who married Kamehameha and had Kamehameha II/Liholiho; Kamehameha III/Kauikeaouli; and Nahienaena (female) and six others who were claimed to have died young.
Kanekapolei and Kamehameha had Kaoleioku. Kaoleioku had Pauahi (female); Hanuna; Konia (female); and Keola.
Pauahi (female) married Kekuanaoa/Mataio Kekuanaoa and had Ruth Keelikolani and stepchildren.
Hanuna had Kapule; Kini (female); Poohina (female); and Hookahe (female).
Kapule and Kini (female) had three daughters: Nahuina (female); Meleana (female), and Kaapiipii (female).
Kapule married Pahoa Nui and had Kamai; Kaakau (female); Kaili (female); and Nainoaalua.
Note: Our Family descends from Kaili the mother of Kaluakini who married Kamehameha descendant Haili (female).
Konia married Paki/Abner Paki, a Kamehameha descendant and had Bernice Pauahi.
Paki/Abner Paki married his brother's widow and took care of his stepchildren: Kalola (female), Kaluaikau (female), and Kalani/Alapai.
Keola - research incomplete.
Akahi - one of the mother's/stepmother's of all of Kamehameha's children:
Akahi had Nahuina who married Kamaliiwahine/Kaili and had Kaluakini. Nahuina died young and Akahi with her husband Waha adopted Kaluakini (and siblings).
Kaluakini married Kamehameha descendant Haili and had Elikapeka who married Joseph Matsugoro/Gora and had Joseph, Walter, John, William, Jolly, Lawrence and Francis. John Matsugoro/Gora married Mary Castro another Kamehameha descendant and had Elizabeth, Amelia, John, Walter, Kathleen, Marian and John Matsugoro/Gora adopted Leola, our mother's oldest daughter.
Our Family descends from four of Kamehameha's children: 1) Kaoleioku; 2) Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli; 3) Kanekapolei 2; and Kalanihelemaiiluna. We also descend from Kamehameha's hanai/adopted children: Hueu Davis, and Peke Davis.
We descend from the Big Island Alii Kalaniopuu's children named 1) Kwalao,; 2) Kaleipaihala; 3) Puali Nui (female); and Manoua/Manowa.
We descend from Kauais Alii Kaumualii's children named 1) Kinoiki (female) and 2) Haupu/Kahekili too.
We also descend from four (4) of Kamehameha's siblings: Kealiimaikai; Kalaiwohi; Kiilaweau (female) and Kalanikaulihiwakama Piipii (female).
We descend from all the above.

Note: Hooleia (female) was a niece of Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli; Kalaniulumoku and Paki/Abner Paki were nephews of Kamehameha III - Kauikeaouli.
Paki/Abner Paki married Kamehameha descendant Konia (female) and had Bernice Pauahi.
Paki/Abner Paki married Kakainalii widow of his brother Kalaniulumoku and his children became Paki/Abner Paki's stepchildren. Their names were Kalola (female); Kaluaikau (female); and Kalani/Alapai.
Kalola (female) was the next-of-kin to Bernice Pauahi /Bernice Pauahi Bishop who was the next-of-kin to Ruth Keelikolani. They were all Kamehameha's descendants.

Luluka and Wanaoa (female) had Ii/John Ii.
John Ii married Sarai Hiwauli who had three (3) sons with her previous husband.
Their names were:
(1) Haalilio
(2) Haalelea married Kekauonohi the hanai/adopted daughter of Kalanimoku.
Haalelea married Anaderia Amoe and lost all interest in Kekauonohi's Estate.
(3) Kahuakaiola/Kahuakailoa had son Charles Kahuakailoa who married Annie Keawe/
Kauweloa and had no issue. He died than she married Meliano and had a son.
Note: Annie Keawe/Kauweloa was the sister of our grandmother Mary Kauweloa who married Albert Castro then Ceferino Maduli.
John Ii and Sarai Hiwauli had two (2) hanai/adopted children:
(1) Victoria Kamamalu - daughter of Kekuanaoa and Kamehameha III' sister Kinau. Attended the Royal School.
(2) Kapehe (female) - descendant of Kealiiokamoku; attended the Royal School under the name Polly Paaaina.
She married Elia Mahu; Opunui - son of Kamehameha III; married Elia Mahu again; then Koka (a Chinese man).
She and Opunui had a daughter named Kapehe/Kapopo who married John Kapena/Kapena's grandson named David Keawe and had Mele Keawe who married Charles Kauweloa a son of Opunui.
Note: Opunui's daughter Kapehe/Kapopo married her father's cousin named David Keawe, the son of his mother Kekualoa's brother. Both Keawe and Kekualoa were the children of Kapena/John Kapena - House of Nobles member.
Opunui was the father of Kapehe/Kapopo who married his son William Linekona Hokuloa's mother Kalaikini . She was married to Kapena/John Kapena then when he died, she married Opunui.
Kalaikini was the Power of Attorney for Ruth Keelikolani whose next-of-kin was Bernice Pauahi Bishop. When Bernice Pauahi Bishop died, her next-of-kin was Kalola (female).
Note: Kalaikini's sister was Kahananui who was married to Kalola's (female) son Kahekili who had son Ioela who married Kapooloku/Kapoolohu/Kapapoko/ Poomaikelani/Princess Poomaikelani who had Haili (siblings). Haili (female) married Kaluakini and had our grandmother Elikapeka/Elizabeth and had our father John Matsugoro/Gora (and siblings).
Kapooloku/Kapoolohu/Kapapoko/Poomaikelani/Princess Poomaikelani was a hanai/ adopted daughter of Kalola and husband Luluhjwalani the nephew of Kalanimoku, the cousin of Leleiohoku/W.P. Leleiohoku and Kekauonohi/Miriam Kekauonohi.
Our grandmother Elikapeka Kaluakini was raised with Kalanimoku's brother Koa/ Kekoa's son named Ioane Kaiama who was her caretaker since the age of 5.
Only she and her brother Moses survived from being captured by the usurping Aliens supported by the American armed invasion in 1893. She was 10 years old at the time.
Grandmother sat with Queen Liliuokalani and watched the Kanaka Maoli supporters dance.
Grandmother's grandmothers were some of the hanai/adopted daughters of Queen Liliuokalani and was taught oral history.
The hanai/adopted daughters that we descend from are Kekualoa and Princess Poomaikelani, the sister of Queen Kapiolani who was married to King David Kalakaua.
Grandmother was born in Keauhou, North Kona, the birthplace of Kamehameha III.
Our father's mother and my mother's grandmother were related and knew each other.
Our Father was 15 years older than our Mother. He was closer to our Mother's Mother age.
It was Kapehe's husband Opunui who was the son of Kekualoa (female) married to Kamehameha III. Kekualoa was the daughter of Kapena/John Kapena. a member of the House of Nobles.
It was Kekualoa's brother named Keawe who adopted Opunui when he was married to Pauahi/Bernice Pauahi who also married Bishop. Keawe was the son of Kapena/ John Kapena a member of the House of Nobles.
John Ii married for the third time and had Irene who married Brown.
