Kauikeaouli had Opunui my mothers side of our family, Kekipi, Kahalauoa, Keawe, Mahoe (female), Papa and Nalimu (female)... there are two deeds with his wife Kekualoa who went on to marry JWD Paalua the son of Mataio Kekuanaoa... they divorced and she married Kealohapauole. Our families lived in downtown Honolulu then in Haleiwa .... tracked them down .... research incomplete.

      Our ancestor is Kahekili also known as Alapai Kahekili Luluhiwalani whose attorney documented that he was a Kamehameha descendant ,,, not kamehameha Nui .... and I have more evidence as well... the point is our Kalola line is documented with the Royal family in the time of Kamehameha V etc

      Didn’t recognize your genealogy names ... am familiar with mostly the Oahu lines ..... I know for a fact that Haa married Kaoleioku descendant named Poohina and he tried to divorce her but the court did not allow it ... perhaps this Haa was a relative?

      Kaoleioku was the oldest son of Kamehameha .... he had four children named Hanuna Keola Pauahi and Konia... Hanuna had Kini Kapule Nahuina Hookahe Poohina Kamai Kaili Kaakau and Nainoaalua.... Pauahi was mother of Ruth Keelikolani Konia was mother of Bernice Pauahi, stepmother of Kalola -my lineet als, hanai mother of Liliuokalani ,,, Kaili was mother of kaluakini- my line, kamai ancestor of papa Awai, Barnie Isaacs et als, kaakau ancestor of Helelani rabago ..... some of the above are/became part of the House of Nobles from the legitimate government of Hawaii .... the Hawaiian Kingdom ....

    Papa Awai was a Kamai descendant, our family i s from Kamais sister named Kaili...this line is from Kaoleioku, the oldest son of Kamehameha and wife Kanekapolei. Our family also descends from Kanekapolei's older brother named Mahihelelima who was the kahu/caretaker of Kamehameha's wives named Kaahumanu; Kaheiheimalie; and Piia/Namahana. Yes, we are Kalaniopuu's descendants too.... lots of people have talked smack over time but the Truth is revealed in research and slander is an issue which is why I did file Police Reports on the nasty ones....
